Best Mash-Up

There were a lot of mash ups. However, my favorite one is from JP. His song had a really good beat and melody. I also think he tried hard in creating his song. You can obviously hear that he had fun while creating it. I could not decide in the best one, but his just grabbed my attention. His had a funky groove and beat, which is the type of songs I like. It also had a few techno in it.

Mash-Up Questions

DJ Danger Mouse is a musician, composer, and producer. His real name is Brian Joseph Burton and he was born in July 29, 1977. He has won a lot of Grammy from his albums. One of his most famous albums is called "The Grey Album" He won a award in making this album. This album did not break any laws. In my opinion this is a great album and really creative. I would like to have this album because the artist try hard in creating this album. 

A mash-up is a group of songs combined together. The fallow a rhythm and it hardly changes. The songs change one by one, but the rhythm hardly changes. There are also other famous mash-up artist. The Hood Internet and C2C are also good. There are good music out their. This are a few groups that are really good in doing their stuff.
   

Earth Day

There are a lot of problem facing us and our planet Earth. There are many reasons for this like the vanishing of species, air pollution, and less resources. However, the most important one from me is the vanishing of species. This is important for us because we will not have any meat to eat. Meat is important because it contains a lot of vitamins like k. In addition to that, it has energy like plants and it is good for us. Not having a type of specie may be problematic because they would not contribution in the oxygen cycle. There are still many reasons for why animals are very important to us.

There's another major reason. When an animal dies, the predator from that specie could die, because it would not get its energy from eating that vanished animal. There is also another major reason, the pray from that banished specie could increase rapidly. This could mean, that there would be an overpopulation of that animal. As you can see, when an animal dies it can really mess up the food web. That is why you have to treat correctly the animals, or if not it can really cause a big problem. In my opinion, animal can be as important like us. You should think about this really carefully.

I think we should focus in this concern. We should try to take care of their habitat better and not pollute near them. We should also look for endangered species and try to create a special place for them, so they won't be injured or killed. There are many concerns about other things happening in the world. However, this was probably the most important one; and if species banish, this could be irreversible. There are other things we could deal with later. If something goes wrong, like the destruction of rain forests, we can plant more trees from seeds. This is why we should put our funds into this problem.

Like you've seen, the banishing of animals can be important. If a specie banish we wont be able to consume it; and at the and we would have to turn into vegetarians. This won't be really good, because the meat found in animals have special proteins that can not be found in plants or fruits. If we put our money into this, we could save the lives of the animals and even ours. If animals take another strike this could be really problematic; and not only for them, to us to. Now that you have read this, please try to help this case. Remember they are not so different from us.

Rotoball Idea

I have thought since a year what I was going to come up for this project. I actually do not want to do it but if I have to, I would go with the ball turning to a disco ball. Then I would start dancing or something. Probably, instead of it turning in a disco ball it could be a DJ. Like that I would be able to dance Tecktonik and it is something I am confident with. My background would turn into a disco or on a road under a building. This is what I would probably do, but I am still not sure.

Reflection about technology

     I think the school does teach us about technology properly. An example of this is, using the computers for a productive way. Like using blogger or helping other people out in the Internet. Checking Moodle is a great way to keep up to the homework and school.They teach us useful things, we can make our on website and music. We have learn a lot of useful things, we now know how to make stop motion animations and more. I´m sure will find other cool stuff to learn in this year. Finally I think that we have learned all the basics for having and working with a computer.
     I don´t use Facebook. I really don´t like it, this is because I don´t like seen pictures of my self or other is just a waste of time for me. I think is counterproductive for me, but it may be great for others. I had Facebook but I realized that I wasn't using it and it was taken valuable time for me. I see people being on it for more that an hour every day and this seems a complete waste of time. However there´s people that like this because they can see pictures of other people.I think I will never use Facebook, I really don´t care that much of pictures and chating with other people. Besides this, it can be risky and dangerous having it because anybody can find you. Facebook is an easy way of finding people and locating them. In my opinion, Facebook is a waste of time for me.
    However, I have a cell phone that I use for more than an hour a day. In my Iphone I have all my games, music, images, and other things that are what make me. I usually play a lot of games in it, but I also use it productively. I can control my computer with it, so when I forget something from school I turn my computer on with my smart phone and send it to the teacher. It can come on really handy if you know how to use it properly. I also can use Skype on it to communicate with my family, like that it doesn't ´t cost as much. I can also have anything I want in it like watching TV or being on Internet. In conclusion, having a phone is a great way to keep in touch with everything.
    

Watercolor Painting ´´Speak´´

Watercolor assignment

Today we painted in English class threes struck by a lightning. This was new in English class; we do this kind of things in art and not in English. However, it was really fun and new. My drawing was really easy but I worked hard to make it. I also saw others paintings to see what they were making.

At the beginning of the class I wasn't sure what I was going to make, but when I grabbed the brush a lot of ideas came running to my head. My drawing had a picture of a three been struck by a lightning, and being on fire. Also, I drew other plants in the background like grass and bushes. Some of them were getting fire by the three. At the same time I drew I was thinking of the difficult it would be for Melinda to know what to draw. My drawing was just as the project was meant to be. Some of my friends were having trouble in thinking what to draw. Mateo drawing started simple, but he later added some cool things to it. I liked of his drawing how the wood was being burned by the fire. Alex also drew a nice drawing; my favorite part was the color of the three trunks being burned. It had a lot of colors, green, red, orange, and I think more.

I simply created a three being struck by a lightning and on fire. I also added some other plants surrounding it getting on fire by the three. I created this simply because it was the first idea that came to my mind. In addition to this, I wanted to forze myself to created something new. I could compare the three with human characteristics in that the three was in pain when being burned by the fire that came from the lightning.

When I finished my painting I said to myself that it wasn't that bad, I actually liked it. When we all finished I looked around on some other paintings. Finally, we took our paintings outside so they could dry and we cleaned the room. In conclusion this was a productive class for the beginning of the second quarter.

William Kentridge, Stop Motion, and Transformation

The work William Kentridge makes me feel nice. Is amazing believing all the things he did. It also involved a lot of politics and stuff he didn't like that much. It´s hard to believe all the things this person did for himself and other people. It would be hard to describe this work to people that are blind. I guess I could tell them about his chalk drawings in motion stop. Hopefully the person would get it.

In his process he might get a lot of ideas to draw. I´m sure that when he started drawing ideas came to his mind. He probably like to draw so the ideas of politics he had would be able to show other people what he thinks. This person is really inspiring for a lot of people and me. In conclusion, I´m glad this person did all this.


Stop motion is making a video with a lot of pictures. You can use any objects or just people, you do something and you take a picture then you do the same until you have what you wanted.
It gives amazement to a viewer, if done right you may think is just a normal video but it isn't. I'm sure ther are people making videos this way. It is fun, you can do thinks easier than using special effect. For some people it would be probably harder. Some steps of doing stop motion are that first you think of what you are going to do. Then you sort it out and think of the order is going to be. Finally just do one thing at the time while taking a picture of it

Mash-Up

Mash-Up are a combination of music into one. They have a melody or beat that goes through the whole song.Good mash-up have great melodies and famous people in it. Bad ones are people not talented and not a good combination. This website is good for learning how to do it better. I have only herd the ones the teacher made as hear. In conclusion this type of music is really cool.

Futuristic object- Glassower 2.0

Futuristic Object- Glass

I'm going to do a normal water glass that shows you what you pour in it, the pH level, and when it expires.
I want to do this because I thought it would be original and fun to create.Besides I'm good at photoshop and this will be a challenge for me. My vision of this would be a glass poured with water and it will show you about it. This probably would be made in a few years. It will be fun to have this project finish so I can show to other people. This will be a great experiment.

Family Reunion

Once, we had a family reunion. All of my Mexican and American family where together. It was in Christmas, I had a lot of gifts from most of my family. I remember this because I was 9 and it was the first time they where all together. My house was really big so all my American family stayed with me. The next day we all went to the restaurant to have some breakfast. I had a lot of fun with my cousins. we where playing Xbox all the time. I will never forget this great day.

Family Tree

This tree means a lot to me because my dad had a tree that look like this one. We would water it and take care of it. We even add a vine to it that made it look even better. Tree would give us a lot of shade that made it cooler outside. We would put sometimes in Christmas our gifts around that tree and it would be fun. The tree would look great in atum because I like that reddish color. This was one of the best trees I ever had. This is why I choose this tree.    

J O Y

     Something I just did was playing with my friends in recces. I first helped Alex with his homework and then I went to to the volley ball field. I just watched them and played. I rather see someone play than if I play. I like volleyball is really fun though it sometimes hurts your knuckles. Before that I had some delicious food with my friends. At the end I just got my stuff ready for the next class. I had computers my favorite subject.

     

     One thing that I would like to do for my self would be try harder at school. I want to get better grades and be neater. I also want to write better because my hand writing is not that good. Also I could try reading more books. I like reading but sometimes I don´t have time. I will just try to do better and me more organized. This are somethings that I will do.


A part of me that makes me really special would be that I´m really friendly. I have a lot friends everywhere. I´m also really good with the computer. I´m always helping my family and others with it.  I  am special also because I play a lot of video games and I can pass them in less than 3 days. I´m always good at that but now I´m not starting to like that. This are some qualities that make me special. This the word joy completed.

Spring Map Testing

This spring we where tested again by  the cool MAP Testing It's a 42 to 52 question exam where they test your academic progress. The last time I did this test it was in October but it was harder due it was the first week of school. I felt happy for my Language score, it was 227 the highest it has ever been. I feel happy doing this because it is really fun, it takes some classes out but the bad thing is that sometimes it also takes part of my recess. I feel the same about it than last time except I didn't like that we had to do it a period before break or recess because you finish a little later and the teachers don't pay your free time. My scores where the same, this time it was hard because I had to rush trough it. Besides that I really like them and at the end if I finish early I can read or do my homework. In conclusion Map Testing is a fun way to be tested in.

Power Point Disaster

Once, in sixth grade a student in our class made a book talk with a lot of disorder. The student had a lot of everything all piled up. She had a lot of slides that repeat a little of the characters in the book, it looked really repeated. She also had a few backgrounds that made the font really hard to be read. Then she had a lot of animations that were on top of each other. She had to many thing in her book talk. Another one is the long time she took to repeat other unnecessary things. She had to much data all over that made the presentation hard to understand.In conclusion that was one of the least best presentations I ever seen.
