Reflection about technology

     I think the school does teach us about technology properly. An example of this is, using the computers for a productive way. Like using blogger or helping other people out in the Internet. Checking Moodle is a great way to keep up to the homework and school.They teach us useful things, we can make our on website and music. We have learn a lot of useful things, we now know how to make stop motion animations and more. I´m sure will find other cool stuff to learn in this year. Finally I think that we have learned all the basics for having and working with a computer.
     I don´t use Facebook. I really don´t like it, this is because I don´t like seen pictures of my self or other is just a waste of time for me. I think is counterproductive for me, but it may be great for others. I had Facebook but I realized that I wasn't using it and it was taken valuable time for me. I see people being on it for more that an hour every day and this seems a complete waste of time. However there´s people that like this because they can see pictures of other people.I think I will never use Facebook, I really don´t care that much of pictures and chating with other people. Besides this, it can be risky and dangerous having it because anybody can find you. Facebook is an easy way of finding people and locating them. In my opinion, Facebook is a waste of time for me.
    However, I have a cell phone that I use for more than an hour a day. In my Iphone I have all my games, music, images, and other things that are what make me. I usually play a lot of games in it, but I also use it productively. I can control my computer with it, so when I forget something from school I turn my computer on with my smart phone and send it to the teacher. It can come on really handy if you know how to use it properly. I also can use Skype on it to communicate with my family, like that it doesn't ´t cost as much. I can also have anything I want in it like watching TV or being on Internet. In conclusion, having a phone is a great way to keep in touch with everything.
    

Watercolor Painting ´´Speak´´

Watercolor assignment

Today we painted in English class threes struck by a lightning. This was new in English class; we do this kind of things in art and not in English. However, it was really fun and new. My drawing was really easy but I worked hard to make it. I also saw others paintings to see what they were making.

At the beginning of the class I wasn't sure what I was going to make, but when I grabbed the brush a lot of ideas came running to my head. My drawing had a picture of a three been struck by a lightning, and being on fire. Also, I drew other plants in the background like grass and bushes. Some of them were getting fire by the three. At the same time I drew I was thinking of the difficult it would be for Melinda to know what to draw. My drawing was just as the project was meant to be. Some of my friends were having trouble in thinking what to draw. Mateo drawing started simple, but he later added some cool things to it. I liked of his drawing how the wood was being burned by the fire. Alex also drew a nice drawing; my favorite part was the color of the three trunks being burned. It had a lot of colors, green, red, orange, and I think more.

I simply created a three being struck by a lightning and on fire. I also added some other plants surrounding it getting on fire by the three. I created this simply because it was the first idea that came to my mind. In addition to this, I wanted to forze myself to created something new. I could compare the three with human characteristics in that the three was in pain when being burned by the fire that came from the lightning.

When I finished my painting I said to myself that it wasn't that bad, I actually liked it. When we all finished I looked around on some other paintings. Finally, we took our paintings outside so they could dry and we cleaned the room. In conclusion this was a productive class for the beginning of the second quarter.

William Kentridge, Stop Motion, and Transformation

The work William Kentridge makes me feel nice. Is amazing believing all the things he did. It also involved a lot of politics and stuff he didn't like that much. It´s hard to believe all the things this person did for himself and other people. It would be hard to describe this work to people that are blind. I guess I could tell them about his chalk drawings in motion stop. Hopefully the person would get it.

In his process he might get a lot of ideas to draw. I´m sure that when he started drawing ideas came to his mind. He probably like to draw so the ideas of politics he had would be able to show other people what he thinks. This person is really inspiring for a lot of people and me. In conclusion, I´m glad this person did all this.


Stop motion is making a video with a lot of pictures. You can use any objects or just people, you do something and you take a picture then you do the same until you have what you wanted.
It gives amazement to a viewer, if done right you may think is just a normal video but it isn't. I'm sure ther are people making videos this way. It is fun, you can do thinks easier than using special effect. For some people it would be probably harder. Some steps of doing stop motion are that first you think of what you are going to do. Then you sort it out and think of the order is going to be. Finally just do one thing at the time while taking a picture of it

Mash-Up

Mash-Up are a combination of music into one. They have a melody or beat that goes through the whole song.Good mash-up have great melodies and famous people in it. Bad ones are people not talented and not a good combination. This website is good for learning how to do it better. I have only herd the ones the teacher made as hear. In conclusion this type of music is really cool.

Futuristic object- Glassower 2.0

Futuristic Object- Glass

I'm going to do a normal water glass that shows you what you pour in it, the pH level, and when it expires.
I want to do this because I thought it would be original and fun to create.Besides I'm good at photoshop and this will be a challenge for me. My vision of this would be a glass poured with water and it will show you about it. This probably would be made in a few years. It will be fun to have this project finish so I can show to other people. This will be a great experiment.

Family Reunion

Once, we had a family reunion. All of my Mexican and American family where together. It was in Christmas, I had a lot of gifts from most of my family. I remember this because I was 9 and it was the first time they where all together. My house was really big so all my American family stayed with me. The next day we all went to the restaurant to have some breakfast. I had a lot of fun with my cousins. we where playing Xbox all the time. I will never forget this great day.

Family Tree

This tree means a lot to me because my dad had a tree that look like this one. We would water it and take care of it. We even add a vine to it that made it look even better. Tree would give us a lot of shade that made it cooler outside. We would put sometimes in Christmas our gifts around that tree and it would be fun. The tree would look great in atum because I like that reddish color. This was one of the best trees I ever had. This is why I choose this tree.    

J O Y

     Something I just did was playing with my friends in recces. I first helped Alex with his homework and then I went to to the volley ball field. I just watched them and played. I rather see someone play than if I play. I like volleyball is really fun though it sometimes hurts your knuckles. Before that I had some delicious food with my friends. At the end I just got my stuff ready for the next class. I had computers my favorite subject.

     

     One thing that I would like to do for my self would be try harder at school. I want to get better grades and be neater. I also want to write better because my hand writing is not that good. Also I could try reading more books. I like reading but sometimes I don´t have time. I will just try to do better and me more organized. This are somethings that I will do.


A part of me that makes me really special would be that I´m really friendly. I have a lot friends everywhere. I´m also really good with the computer. I´m always helping my family and others with it.  I  am special also because I play a lot of video games and I can pass them in less than 3 days. I´m always good at that but now I´m not starting to like that. This are some qualities that make me special. This the word joy completed.

Spring Map Testing

This spring we where tested again by  the cool MAP Testing It's a 42 to 52 question exam where they test your academic progress. The last time I did this test it was in October but it was harder due it was the first week of school. I felt happy for my Language score, it was 227 the highest it has ever been. I feel happy doing this because it is really fun, it takes some classes out but the bad thing is that sometimes it also takes part of my recess. I feel the same about it than last time except I didn't like that we had to do it a period before break or recess because you finish a little later and the teachers don't pay your free time. My scores where the same, this time it was hard because I had to rush trough it. Besides that I really like them and at the end if I finish early I can read or do my homework. In conclusion Map Testing is a fun way to be tested in.

Power Point Disaster

Once, in sixth grade a student in our class made a book talk with a lot of disorder. The student had a lot of everything all piled up. She had a lot of slides that repeat a little of the characters in the book, it looked really repeated. She also had a few backgrounds that made the font really hard to be read. Then she had a lot of animations that were on top of each other. She had to many thing in her book talk. Another one is the long time she took to repeat other unnecessary things. She had to much data all over that made the presentation hard to understand.In conclusion that was one of the least best presentations I ever seen.

Peer Evaluations of Earth Video

The peer evaluations from yesterday made me feel kind of like a teacher. It was really easy and fun because I felt like the one in charge of the project. I graded two videos, the first one was good but the other one could be better. When I read the rubric I thought that it will be better if I change the video to a better quality. I will only record my voice and add a tittle and later credits. Alex, my partner would only have to record his voice with me and that is it. As soon as I finish I will give it to the teacher because the video we made was not really good. I hope I get a better grade once I give the better video to the teacher.

Biography

Scott5212 was created in 2006 at the Internet. He has shown himself to be really known in the Web like Platform Racing, Fiesta, and many other virtual games. He has been showing himself like a though competitor and some times cheater. In Platform Racing he has used Cheat Engine to make his stats beyond the limits, in others word he might be a Hacker. He has a small business in hacking IPhones with the Jailbreak. He has seem really friendly in showing step by step in how to download or get something. He helps them by tutorial on You Tube and on his Email (scott5212@ymail.com) He will keep wining and making cool tutorials, don't forget to visit him if you need any help.

8th grade RotoBall

The project 8th grade did was named RotoBall. They did a great animated video of there self in a contour line way while playing with a ball. It was really interesting the way they interacted with the ball and at the same time doing some tricks. One of my favorites part was when a character (Sebastian) convert it into a weapon. I also like when Laura the character was a flip that seem to hurt and play with the ball. This was really creative and the music they had went pretty well with what was happening. I like the idea of creating this video because it´s original and complex. This are some things why I like the Video of the 8th gaders.

In 3 minutes I can do a lot of things. One of the things I can do is brush my teeth and my hair. I even do them at the same time when I'm late for school. My mom will always win when she is in the car and putting her make up while she speaks on the phone. I even play x box sometimes while eating and talking. One of the most normal things teens do is being chatting while watching the TV and doing there homework. I don't to that because my internet wont reach all the way to the lap-top and I don't have a TV in my room. The thing I do the most is doing a shore in 3 minutes while watching TV.


A lot of people now try to do the things really fast but later there really tire and they made a mess. A lot of people do more things in there computers so it's easier and faster. There job gets easier all the time and they can do faster things. Well back to the things I can do in 3 minutes could be an easy Homework or giving food to my cat. One of my favorite things that I can do would be hacking my phone with the jailbreak. That actually only lasts 2 min if you use black rain. I love doing things in my Lap-Top because I'm good at it and I can change its personality all the time. I love to change the way my IPhone looks. I would sing a song in 3 minutes.

I can look music in Ares and then download with my super app. for speeding the Modem. I can download cool software and programs. That's always a taker because it's fun and entertaining. A lot of people in the world can do things in 3 minutes that are really amazing and extraordinary. I think one of my strengths is typing a small paragraph. I can compose an easy melody and tune in my IPhone. I can also chat in Ebuddy while playing in my Lap-Top. Well this are some things that can be done in less than 3 minutes.

Six Sence

When I first saw this new invention I was amazed. I can't believe this invention has been made so recent you would expect something like this be in twenty years or so. When I was watching this video I didn't think I was going to watch something like this. I for sure want something like this because its the new type of technology and its really cool. This is something that has not been seen, it just came out from no where. This is something that you can use physically and with other objects. This is going to be world famous and the newest hit.

With this technology you can use anything to write, draw, view with. You can play a game like race cars in a normal paper because of its projectors and sensors. You can use your fingers to do anything with is and it has a sensor with a projector so it knows what to do. One of the coolest things is that you can take pictures with it whenever and wherever you are. This technology combines with your fingers and then the projector on your chest and the sensor just below it. You can then plug it in your computer and see what you did and import it to your PC. You can copy paste it to the projector and then it projects it wherever you want like in a paper. This is why it is really cool.

The are going to make it an open source. Open source means that is free and it can be modified. The bad thing is that people can then copy this invention, make it better, sell it and then buy the name. But we can trust them if they know how to control it. The good thing about it is that people can tell them if there's a problem in it or they can add something to it and make it better. This is the new cool thing that everybody will have aces to it. Well this is one of the inventions and would make the world better because you can trouble with it.

Christams Break

On my Christmas break I had a lot of fun. The first thing we did was putting the Christmas Three and lights around it. Then we put the Christmas light on and in the house. I stayed with my dad and it was really relaxing, I saw the T.V. for a lot of time and I did not get bored. I had fun with my cousin Tono and my other cousins in the party. It was really fun being with Marari.
